The 11th edition of the Gañafote Cup now has an official ambassador

The ball is already rolling! Well, at least in our offices, where the excitement just keeps building. If you thought the eleventh edition of the Gañafote Cup couldn't get any more special, get ready: we already have a captain for this ship.

It is an honor to announce that Manuel Agudo Durán, better known as “Nolito, ” will be the official patron of the 2026 Gañafote Cup.

A role model who knows what it means to dream big

Born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Nolito is not just a star who has shone at Manchester City, Celta de Vigo, FC Barcelona, and Sevilla FC. Above all, he is an example of how talent, when combined with hard work and humility, knows no bounds.

Nolito takes up the mantle of a “star-studded lineup” that has graced our tournament in previous editions. He thus joins legends such as David Villa, Fernando Morientes, Antonio Núñez, and Jesús Vázquez, once again raising the prestige of this competition that we love so much.

The 2026 Gañafote Cup isn't just a local tournament; it's a window to the world from Huelva. This year, the scale of the event has us in awe:

From March 27 to 29, the province of Huelva will become the epicenter of international youth soccer.
