Gañafote Cup is about community, culture, tourism, and learning. But above all, it’s a commitment to ensuring that no child is left out of this experience for financial reasons. Today we are especially proud to share some news that moves us deeply: the CD Verdeluz will participate in the next edition of the Gañafote Cup thanks to the Sports Scholarship launched in partnership with the Atlantic Copper Foundation.

Thanks to this scholarship, the players from CD Verdeluz—a humble, hardworking club from Huelva—will be able to experience what it’s like to face off against the world’s best youth teams, enjoy our venues throughout the province, and feel, for a few days, like true international soccer professionals.

The Time of Delivery
The agreement was formalized during an emotional ceremony at our offices inAljaraque. The scholarship was presented byÁngeles Sánchez Cuenca, director of the Atlantic Copper Foundation, alongsideJoaquín Rasco, CEO of the Gañafote Cup.
For CD Verdeluz, this opportunity means much more than just a tournament: it’s a chance to show that in youth soccer, passion and hard work can open doors that sometimes seem out of reach.
