The Gañafote Cup is an international grassroots soccer tournament born in 2017. After nine years of celebration, 2025 will be the year of the leap where we will celebrate the tenth edition, a unique experience to live. Our tournament maintains its essence through the years, to consolidate a type of event that goes beyond the competition, where fellowship, tourism and culture add value to the experience.

Preliminary phase developed in Cortegana and Cabrerizos; with victories of Real Club Recreativo de Huelva, in Huelva, and UD Santa Marta, in the municipality of Salamanca. Next stop, Motril and Warsaw.

For the second consecutive year, from Huelva we landed in the Arab Emirates to develop the previous Gañafote Cup. To this great experience we add the capital of Japan, Tokyo.

In Manizales (Colombia), the Carlos Sarmiento Lora Soccer School has a direct pass to the final phase of the Gañafote Cup. The next preliminary phase will take place at the Tocalli brothers' facilities in Buenos Aires.

We fly to the other side of the world where the qualifying round is taking place in Cairns, Queensland. Participants will be able to enjoy an enviable climate while competing for a place in the grand final in Huelva.

The Gañafote Cup brings together teams from different parts of the world, which not only generates an exciting sporting atmosphere, but also boosts tourism in the area. The matches are played in different locations, allowing both residents and visitors to enjoy the excitement of soccer in different scenarios. The impact generated by the tournament is reflected in the arrival of tourism to the different localities that make up the Gañafote Cup, resulting in an economic and social impact.
