This year, the Gañafote Cup Cádiz 2025 is launching a charitable initiative in support of the organization “Martín – La Aventura de un X-Men,” a project that supports Martín and his family in their fight against a rare and medically complex disease. This organization works to improve their quality of life, advance his treatment, and raise awareness about the realities faced by many children living with rare diseases.
Who is Martín?
Martín is known as “the little X-Man” because of his strength, resilience, and determination. His story has inspired thousands of people and fostered a community committed to supporting families facing similar situations. The association runs awareness campaigns, provides direct support, and carries out projects designed to meet medical, therapeutic, and logistical needs.
Our Collaboration
In this edition, with the support of our patron Borja Ferrer, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for the Gañafote Cup Cádiz will be donated to the association. In this way, the tournament reinforces its commitment to children and to social causes that require visibility, resources, and support. The remaining portion of the proceeds will be donated to the association “GEINO – Spanish Neuro-Oncology Research Group.”
In addition, a charity Bizum account has been set up at 13013 for anyone who would like to contribute now.
