Niebla, a municipality in Huelva with a millenary history, was inhabited by Phoenicians, Romans, Visigoths and Muslims, which makes it one of the most important historical enclaves in Andalusia.
In 1023, under the reign of Ibn Mahfuz, it became the capital of the taifa of Labla, which covered much of the current province of Huelva and part of the Portuguese Algarve, living a period of splendor.
WHAT TO SEE IN FOG
Its most emblematic monument is the Castillo de los Guzmanes, built on an ancient Arab citadel and reformed by Visigoths, Arabs and Christians.
Also noteworthy are its Almohad walls, known for their reddish tone and considered one of the most complete fortified enclosures in Spain, with two kilometers of perimeter, forty towers and five main gates.
