The 2026 Gañafote Cup continues to move forward in its group stage following an intense afternoon of play that once again showcased a high level of competition across all categories, featuring lopsided wins, hard-fought draws, and the confirmation of which teams will advance to the various knockout rounds.
In the pre-benjamín division, several teams displayed great offensive firepower, with lopsided victories such as Sevilla FC’s win over RCD Espanyol (9-2), Real Betis’ win over Atlético Zabal Linense (7-0), Córdoba CF’s win over CD Los Rosales (7-0), and Málaga CF’s win over CD Academia Zafra (9-0).
In the youngest age group, the day was once again marked by intensity and a flurry of goals, with Real Betis’s 17-0 win standing out, as well as victories by Córdoba CF (6-0), Deportivo de la Coruña (3-0), and Dream Taiwan (4-1). There were also some very close matches, such as the draws between Athletic Club and CD Albaida (2-2) and between Recreativo de Huelva and AD Burreño Conil (2-2).
The youth division saw one of the most goal-filled afternoons, with standout results such as victories by Cádiz CF (9-0), Real Betis (11-0 and 12-1), Málaga CF (18-1 and 7-1), FC Barcelona (8-0), Villarreal CF (5-0), ACF Fiorentina (6-0), and FC Bayern Munich (6-0). There were also Matches , such as Liverpool FC’s 6-4 win, reflecting the competitiveness of the division.
In the youth division, Sevilla FC secured a solid victory (4-0), while Real Betis staged one of the biggest wins of the matchday (10-0).
In the cadet division, close matches were the order of the day, with Beas CF defeating BTA (1-2) and San Roque Balompié winning (3-0).
In the women's division, Real Betis (7-0) and Sevilla FC (4-0) had a very successful matchday, putting on strong performances in their respective games.
