This past Saturday, September 3 took place in Villanueva de las Cruces the celebration of the first Preliminary Phase that gives the winner a direct pass to the final phase of the Gañafote Cup next 2024.
The morning began with the matches between the teams of the children's category where the U. D. Tomares, C. D. 1889, R. C. Recreativo de Huelva and C. D. Siempre Alegres disputed that coveted pass to be present in the new edition of Gañafote Cup that will take place in June. D. The final was resolved with penalties, with the winner being U. D. Tomares.
The afternoon matches were marked by rain. Rain that did not prevent the fans of the different teams to support their quarries. In this case they faced C. D. 1889 A and B, R. C. Recreativo de Huelva and C. D. San Roque de Lepe, with the final being decided between R. C. Recreativo de Huelva and C. D. 1889.
A once again in a thrilling penalty shootout where the C. D. 1889 won.
