7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL
GAÑAFOTE CUP – REGULATIONS DOCUMENTATION
Before the start of the tournament, each team must complete the online registration form that the organization sends to each club in advance, certifying the details of the names, surnames, ID number and date of birth.
The review of the registration received by the documentation club will be carried out before the start of the championship, although if circumstances require it, the organization may repeat it at any other time.
All players will be identified with a valid federation license, ID, passport or other official document proving their age with a photograph.
Player IDs will be at the Gañafote Cup headquarters for verification.
If any team fields a player who does not meet the requirements set out in the regulations, the team will lose the match by 3 to 0.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND SUBSTITUTES
7-a-side football: The number of participants will be a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 18 players.
Substitutions are unlimited, provided that the referee authorises them, without interrupting play and in the centre of the field. Any substituted player may re-enter the field.
It is permitted to use a player in several teams of the same club as long as the teams are not in the same category. Under no circumstances may a player play in the competition with two different Clubs.
EQUIPMENT
Each club is required to bring at least two numbered playing kits or one kit and a set of numbered bibs.
If before the start of a match the referee considers that the colours of both teams are barely different, the team mentioned second on the calendar will be obliged to change.
All shirts must be properly numbered and the numbers must match the match report.
PLAYING FIELDS
Gañafote Cup has artificial and natural grass of the highest quality.
BALLS
All matches will be played with regulation size 4 balls.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
The PREBENJAMIN 2017 category will be made up of 32 teams and 8 groups of 4 teams will be formed by drawing lots competing in a single-round league format.
The BENJAMIN 2016 category will be made up of 32 teams and 8 groups of 4 teams will be drawn to compete in a single-round league format.
The BENJAMIN 2015 category will be made up of 32 teams and 8 groups of 4 teams will be drawn to compete in a single-round league format.
The 2014 ALEVIN category will be made up of 32 teams and 8 groups of 4 teams will be drawn to compete in a single-round league format.
The 2013 ALEVIN category will be made up of 64 teams and 16 groups of 4 teams will be drawn to compete in a single-round league format.
The PREBENJAMIN 2017 category will be made up of 32 teams and 8 groups of 4 teams will be formed by drawing lots competing in a single-round league format.
The WOMEN'S category will be made up of 16 teams and 4 groups of 4 teams will be drawn to compete in a single-round league format.
These groups will determine the teams that qualify for each category in the final phase.
Final phase: The teams will face each other in a single-match knockout round against the teams in their respective categories based on their group stage ranking. The winning teams will advance to the next round of the competition until the final.
All teams will play a minimum of 4 matches.
GAME PROGRAM
The organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the game program, both in terms of schedule and playing fields. Information on the changes will be given to the team manager and posted on the official website.
DURATION OF MATCHES
All matches will have a fixed duration of two 20-minute halves throughout the tournament in this category.
Only in the case of serious injury where assistance is required and the referee considers that the match should be stopped may this be done. The tournament committee is authorized to alter the duration and time if circumstances so require. The half-time of the matches will last 5 minutes and there will be a change of field.
PENALTY KICK TO DECIDE THE WINNER OF THE MATCH
They will be launched to break a hypothetical tie in the group.
The teams will take a round of 3 penalties one by one alternately. If the score is still equal, the match will go to sudden death. The teams will take a penalty alternately until one scores and the other misses.
Each penalty kick is taken by a different player. Only after each team member has taken a penalty kick may the players take a second penalty kick. All players, except the goalkeeper and the player taking the penalty kick, must remain in the centre of the field.
PUNCTUALITY
Teams must be ready on the pitch 15 minutes before each match. If a team does not show up, the result will be 3-0.
In the event of two no-shows during the tournament, the team will be eliminated directly.
If the team's delay is due to transportation by the organization, the match will be delayed without taking into account the previous point.
QUALIFYING PHASE SCORE
Match won: 3 points
Tied match: 1 point
Lost match: 0 points
CLASSIFICATION CRITERIA
– The first classified of each group will qualify for the final draw of the GOLD PHASE .
– The second-placed team in each group will qualify for the final draw of the GOLD PHASE .
– The third-placed team in each group will qualify for the final draw of the SILVER PHASE .
– The fourth-placed team in each group will qualify for the final draw of the SILVER PHASE .
• IN CASE OF A TIE BETWEEN TWO TEAMS
This will be resolved in the following order:
Result of the match between both teams.
Penalty shootout between the teams involved.
• IN CASE OF A TIE BETWEEN MORE THAN TWO TEAMS
This will be resolved in the following order:
Number of points obtained in the matches played between the teams involved.
By the highest overall goal difference, taking into account all goals scored and received during the competition.
Number of goals scored in the overall group standings.
If the tie is broken using the above criteria between one or two teams and there are still two teams tied, we will go to an individual match.
Lottery.
REFEREES
The tournament referees belong to the Andalusian Referee Committee and will be appointed by the Huelva Delegation.
They must be there in advance to start each match at the time stipulated in the calendar.
They will enforce the rules set out in the Competition Regulations, as well as the Rules of the Game established in the current season by the IFAB. Their decisions are final.
As match judges, they will be required to sign the minutes with their first and last names, checking that they are correct with what is reflected therein.
GAÑAFOTE CUP COMPETITION COMMITTEE
The competition committee of the tournament is composed of 3 people, 2 representatives of the organization and the tournament director. Protests and complaints will be handled by the competition committee and its written decisions cannot be appealed or changed.
SANCTIONS
A player sent off for a technical foul such as: holding the shirt, a foul being the last player in an obvious goal-scoring play, a foul for the goalkeeper touching the ball with his hands outside the area, a double caution, etc. will not be punished with a sanction for the next match. In the case of other expulsions such as insulting, kicking, assaulting an opponent, violent conduct, etc. the player will be automatically suspended for the next match and depending on the severity of the action could be sanctioned for several matches or expulsion from the championship.
COMPLAINTS
Protests or claims must be submitted in writing by the team delegate to the field manager or person in charge of the organisation no later than 20 minutes after the end of the match in question. Protests or claims due to factors inherent to the refereeing of the match will not be accepted.
RULES OF ORDER
Coaches are responsible for their players in the event of damage to changing rooms, hotels, buses or other facilities. Silence must be respected in hotels between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Meal times established by hotel managers must be respected. Travelling on the organisation's transport without a shirt is prohibited. It is forbidden to bring alcohol or other substances not permitted for minors under 18 years of age into rooms. The organisation will only act ex officio in the purely sporting field, except in cases where material damage occurs in sports facilities, accommodation, buses or similar, where it may sanction the individual responsible or the team in general, depending on the seriousness of the events or affected property, and may even expel the team from the competition.
DATABASE
All participants are required to fill out the data protection form, have it signed by their legal representative and return it to the organization before the tournament. Through this, they give their consent for the processing of their data. Participation in the event authorizes the tournament organization to use any graphic reproduction of the participants during the tournament.
MODIFICATION
Any circumstance not reflected in the regulations is the exclusive responsibility of those responsible for the organization, whose decisions are final, and who reserve the right to add, modify, interpret and apply the rules according to their criteria and the needs of each tournament. They reserve the right to modify these rules for the benefit of the competition.

These groups will determine the teams that qualify for each category in the final phase.

All teams will play a minimum of 4 matches.
