Lepe 1 - Gañafote Cup

Lepe is located in the geographical center of the region of the Costa de Huelva. In his term is part of the Natural Park of the Marshes of the Rio Piedras and Flecha de Nueva Umbria.
It also has in its term with the splendid beach of La Antilla, one of the most beautiful in the province.

Lepe's coastline is wide, rich and varied, with different ecosystems, dunes, beaches, marshes and landscapes. Lepe, with its natural and environmental resources, as well as the open character and hospitality of its people, has become a destination for many tourists.

Known "worldwide" for the character and idiosyncrasy of its people, who have made humor their hallmark. However, it has been able to build a parallel fame and a buoyant economic situation for something more tangible as the cultivation of strawberries, being the main producer and exporter of this exquisite fruit of the whole country.

It has places such as the Parish of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, which houses the image of Our Lady of La Bella, and the Chapel of San Cristóbal, as well as the Ajimez, declared of Cultural Interest.

WHAT TO SEE IN LEPE

More than 15 km of sandy beaches capable of catering to all tastes: from wild beaches, nestled in natural landscapes of lush vegetation between dunes, to urban beaches equipped with all tourist services and recognized with the quality marks "Q for Tourist Quality", "Sicted", "Blue Flag", "Blue Trail" and "Ecobeaches". With more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and a pleasant climate, Lepe is the ideal place to enjoy a vacation in southern Andalusia.

Strolling through La Antilla we find the Open Air Museum, with replicas of representative elements of large Spanish cities. The Barriada de los Pescadores will show us the traditional art of fishing in all its splendor.

A few kilometers away is the Puerto del Terrón, which, together with the romero enclosure, form a fantastic walk to enjoy the natural scenery that surrounds them.
